Farmer Copleys has announced they have been shortlisted for two awards within the business and retail world. They will be up against some of the best in the country in two separate categories.
Firstly, they have made the shortlist in the ‘North’s Best Rural Retail Business’ category of the Rural Business Awards 2018/19. The finalists are being judged on key factors including their understanding of customers, links with the community and having a sustainable business strategy.
After vigorous judging, the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday 9th October 2018 at the Last Drop Village, Bolton, where Farmer Copleys will be fighting it out against four other high-quality businesses.
Farmer Copleys have also been shortlisted for The Guild of Fine Food’s annual Shop of the Year awards in the ‘Best Shop or Garden Centre with Food Hall’ category.
The award identifies excellence in independent retail and includes an announced judging as well as a mystery shop to determine the winner which will be announced on Thursday 20th September, at No. 42 Southwark Street, the Guild of Fine Food’s London base.
These are two coveted awards and Farmer Copleys will look forward to learning their fate. Whatever the results, it is a true sign of progress for the Pontefract based business and they will be delighted with the recognition they have received thus far.
