We’re always on the lookout for amazing local produce to bring to The Farm Shop so we’re thrilled to welcome Luke’s Bakery to the shelves! Known for his exceptional sourdough and Yorkshire roots, Luke is now delivering his handcrafted loaves to us twice a week – every Wednesday and Friday morning. We have already put this bread through a rigorous taste test (a tough job, but someone has to do it) and we can confirm that it is sensational.
Meet the Baker
Luke has always dreamed of having his own bakery and his passion for bread making led him to earn a diploma in Artisan Bread Making from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. Now, he’s sharing that passion with the community creating incredible loaves packed with flavour and made with care.
What’s on the Shelves?
There’s something for everyone with a fantastic selection of flavours. We currently stock:
- White – A classic sourdough with an amazing crust.
- White & Rye – A beautifully balanced loaf with a rich and hearty taste.
- Malted Granary – Packed with grains for added texture and flavour.
- Sun-dried Tomato & Basil – A Mediterranean style loaf, perfect with soups or cheese.
- Olive – Brimming with juicy olives, a great accompaniment for Charlie & Ivy’s Bread Dippers.
- Garlic & Herb – Fragrant and flavourful, ideal with pasta or simply on its own.
- Honey, Oat & Raisin- A touch of natural sweetness, lovely toasted with butter.

The first couple of deliveries have been popular and we have had some really good feedback so if you fancy a loaf, be quick. Whether you’re after the perfect sandwich base, a tasty accompaniment or a loaf to simply slather in butter, Luke’s Bakery has got you covered.
