Cooking at Home with Rosemary Shrager
We’ve been a bit bored if we’re being honest and I’m sure you have too. Our usual January routine of going skiing and having some time off after the Christmas rush was obviously put to the sword by COVID. This along with lockdown, means we’re always looking for something to keep us entertained. Cooking at Home with Rosemary Shrager has certainly been refreshing and actually something entertaining to do.
Farm Retail Association
As you may know, Robert is the Chairman of the Farm Retail Association (FRA). Recently the FRA have started a wonderful partnership with Rosemary Shrager. She will be hosting a live cook along every Saturday evening at 5pm. We’re all passionate about local, seasonal, British produce – it’s the best in the world!
We’ve met Rosemary numerous times over the years when Heather has been out and about doing her cooking demonstrations at the Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate Flower Show & Wakefield Food, Drink & Rhubarb Festival, and she is always a delight to speak to.
Heather joined in last week in her kitchen to make a delicious Steak & Kidney Pie with Neeps & Tatties and it was so nice to be have something to do, as well as have something delicious to eat at the end of it. The recipes for the next few weeks look amazing and vary from some of the classics to something you’ll never have thought to cook – you can keep up with our recipe boxes each week in our online shop.
Don’t waste another evening watching some boring talent shows on the television, get in the kitchen and learn something new!
The cook along is every Saturday at 5pm. This weeks recipe is Toad in the Hole with Local Sausages and Caramelised Onions.
