This was the first onion marmalade ever made in the United Kingdom, and it's a very remarkable one indeed, using great British ingredients. Perfect with pâtés, terrines, cheeses and sausages and it's even better when melted over a smoky sausage.

As red and rosy as a cherub’s cheeks, this bright, fruity sauce is jollity in a pot. Made with whole cranberries, it’s got a tingling tartness that cuts through rich meats like pork and goose, and also works well with gooey cheeses.

Mrs C's quick beef sauce recipe Simply mix 200g of Longley Farm Creme Fraiche with 1 heaped teaspoon of Tracklements Horseradish Cream and 2 heaped teaspoons of Tracklements Robust Wholegrain Mustard

Tracklements make this sharp, tangy sauce with English bramley apples, a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. As good as the best homemade, it’s very good indeed, especially with roast pork and salty crackling, and even vanilla ice cream.
